Freaky Friday is about a mother (Tess) and daughte Freaky Friday is about a mother (Tess) and daughter (Anna) who, after the death of Tess’ husband and Anna’s father, struggle to get along, especially now that Tess is getting remarried. They end up swapping bodies, forcing them to walk (literally) in each other’s shoes and eventually come to understand the others’ POV.

Nisha, the director, accomplishes her goal in creating a film that celebrates a particular sort of imperfect yet deep mother-daughter (and grandmother-granddaughter) relationship that comes out of single motherhood.

If you’ve never seen Freaky Friday before, see Freaky Friday. But then, see Freakier Friday too; it has merit beyond the nostalgia factor. The perfect double hitter for Mother's Day this year!
