Women’s History Month: Feel-good Films Now Available to Stream 

In celebration of Women’s History Month, the all-female team of film critics at FF2 Media were assigned to write about their favorite female artists – and where to watch their work.


Another film that really was a pleasant film to watch was Abominable (directed by Jill Culton). This animation follows a girl in China desperately trying to make enough money to travel to all the places her father had more.


TIFF directors honored at female filmmakers dinner

Women filmmakers were celebrated at IndieWire Female Filmmakers Dinner at Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday, September 8 at The Purman (presented by Canada Goose). This year, TIFF (which runs through September 15) is presenting more than 330 films: 36 percent are directed, co-directed, and/or created by women; a slight increase from last year’s representation of 35 more.
